(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Secretary General of the Ahlul Bayt(a.s) World Assembly by Send a message to the participat leaders and members of the 16th Non-Aligned Movement summit in 3 languages ask for their efforts to respect the rights of their Shia citizens.
He points to the rights of minorities and said:"Under current circumstances where we witness chaos, desecration, murdering minorities, destroying their properties and violating dignity of the oppressed, and some Muslim minorities –especially Shiites- have been violated during the last couple of months leading to the murder of innocent people and the destruction of the holy places, we kindly ask NAM members –due to their great responsibility- to help stop the violence against these humans and followers of religions and take an influential step as a humanitarian act,".

The Ahlul Bayt(a.s) World Assembly welcomes all the esteemed guests and expresses its happiness for the opening of NAM summit and the attendance of member states and their officials in Islamic Republic of Iran. It also hopes more success for the participants of this valuable and grand summit while it hopes this summit to be the advent of a transformation to bring governments and nations closer to each other to establish peace, tranquility and security in the world (especially member states) and eradicate poverty, expand justice, cordiality and cooperation and interaction of governments and nations so that they can defend the rights of the oppressed, the impoverished and minorities in both national and international level and also support their rights in inter-religious cooperation and close ties between nations.
Under current circumstances where we witness chaos, desecration, murdering minorities, destroying their properties and violating dignity of the oppressed, and some Muslim minorities –especially Shiites- have been violated during the last couple of months leading to the murder of innocent people and the destruction of the holy places, we kindly ask NAM members –due to their great responsibility- to help stop the violence against these humans and followers of religions and take an influential step as a humanitarian act.
To this end, the Ahlul Bayt(a.s) World Assembly as the sole non-profitable global organization which is in close relation with all Ahlul Bayt(a.s) [prophet of Islam's household] followers kindly asks all member states attending the 16th NAM summit to pay attention to, ratify and seriously pursue the following:
1-Rights of minorities especially Ahlul Bayt(a.s) followers be respected, recognized and legally supported in their respective country.
2-Ahlul Bayt(a.s) followers be able to freely practice their religious, cultural and social ceremonies and be supported in this regard.
3-Their religious rites and sacred places and beliefs be supported.
4-NAM member states not allow the Ahlul Bayt(a.s) followers be oppressed
5-Violators of their rights, life, properties and women be put on trial and receive due punishment while not allowing the same events to be repeated in the future.
6-The esteemed governments ask the religious figures and elites who are influential among people and have religious power and have access to media to calm social excitements and to help relieve the tension.
7-We also ask the esteemed NAM member states to control and stop the remarks and commands by some political figures or those who claim religious leadership which lead to provocation of other denominations , murders, violation of life, properties, women, sacred places and beliefs and chaos in nations.
And finally the Ahlul Bayt(a.s) World Assembly extends its best regards and wishes best of success and happiness for all the NAM states and their nations . We sincerely appreciate their kindness to help resolve these issues.
